You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.

2025-2026 School Year Meeting Dates
We had our first School Council meeting of the 2024-2025 school year on October 6, 2025. As part of the annual Council procedure, we dissolved last year’s council and were then able to elect this year’s Council Executive.
We also have a number of voting members and wish to extend the invitation to all LWPS families to attend meetings this year. Meetings are on Tuesday nights and run from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Please see the list of meeting dates below:
