8 Co-Chairs Update:
Movie Night on April 16th:
•A more immersive movie experience is planned (movie trivia, trailers, lower
light, potentially higher volume)
9 Co-Chairs Update (continued):
PRO grant:
• Jennifer Casa-Todd is confirmed as a speaker. “Digital Leadership: Helping
Kids Navigate Today’s Technology” is scheduled for May 6th at 6:30pm at
the LWPS Library
25th Anniversary BBQ on June 11th
• Planning is ongoing
•Additional food truck for on site orders is being researched
•Collage / Memory wall for students and teachers is being considered
Staff Appreciation
• For the last day of classes (afternoon) council is considering bringing cool
treats for the staff.
10 LWPS Wish list to be funded by School Council:
1. Increase budget for graduates to $25 per student (from previous $20).
The total for 52 graduates comes to $1,300. Council voted in favour.
2. Cost sharing for technology $2,720. Council voted in favour.
3. Purchase a new outdoor tentL: $1,020. Council voted in favour.
